  46.     The DDLI is a personality indicator measures for four different
  47.     sets of preferences that result in a total of sixteen different
  48.     psychological types.  These four sets of preferences are
  49.  
  50.         How we orient our lives:

  52.             Extraversion vs. Introversion
  53.  
  54.         How we prefer to gather information:
  55.  
  56.             Sensing vs. iNtuition
  57.  
  58.         How we prefer to make decisions:
  59.  
  60.             Thinking vs. Feeling

  62.         Which sort of lifestyle we prefer:

  64.             Judging vs. Perceiving
  65.  
  66.     These 16 types correspond to the psychological types that Carl
  67.     Jung described in _Psychological Types_.  They also corresond to
  68.     the 16 Myers-Briggs types measured by the Myers-Briggs Type
  69.     Indicator.

  71.     The DDLI asks you a series of multiple choice questions and
  72.     calculates its results from your answers.  It asks you to rank
  73.     each of your answers on a scale from 1 to 7. It also asks you
  74.     questions on other sets of preferences that are supposed to match
  75.     various combinations of the above four sets. This is so it
  76.     provides a check on itself, as it can be fallible.

  78.     The DDLI comes with extensive support material.  Included are full
  79.     length descriptions of each one of the 16 types, the "Personality
  80.     Type Summary" by Jon Noring, and my own description of the Life
  81.     Pattern personality model.

  85.     Using the data I have collected from people, I have changed (and
  86.     hopefully improved) the questions.  I think the DDLI will be
  87.     somewhat more reliable now.

  89.     When you quit the DDLI with option 6, it will give you the
  90.     opportunity to save your answers before you quit.

  92.     Added to the text that the DDLI displays.

  94.     The DDLI now writes extra text to the raw scores file, and it can
  95.     read raw scores files with extra text at the beginning.

  97.     The DDLI now has you indicate your type by selecting a number

  100.     The raw scores file takes up fewer lines, so that it is easier to
